Welcome to our unique learning space based in Heald Green, Stockport.

We offer UK National Curriculum aligned Maths, Reading and Writing tuition for children aged 3-14 years- specialising in hands-on, brain friendly and creative teaching approaches that promote a deep understanding and love of learning!

In our peaceful learning garden, deep thinking and curiosity comes naturally - the perfect learning environment for exploring big ideas and concepts.

We welcome both school attending and home educated learners, with sessions taking place from 10am until 7pm Monday to Friday. Our families can choose from one to one tuition sessions or our small, friendly ‘Social Tuition’ groups - as well as having the option to build a tuition package that combines both. We offer the option to drop and collect your child, or stay onsite whilst they learn. We are proudly inclusive with extensive experience of engaging and supporting learners with SEND, Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA), School Based Anxiety / Trauma and EOTAS.

‘Ordinary’ learning does not happen here- expect lots of curiosity, investigation and laughter as we support your child to develop core academic skills and self-belief! We carefully design each learning experience to support how the brain naturally learns best by using the most effective teaching approaches from around the world, including: Nordic play-based learning, Metacognitive approaches, Montessori principles, Mastery Maths influenced by East Asian teaching methods and multi-sensory learning!

Option to drop off and collect your child - or relax and connect with other parents on site.

Infant Social Group Tuition (3-7 years): Thursdays 10.30am-11.30am (£20 per session)

Junior Social Group Tuition (7-12 years): Fridays 11.30am - 12.30pm (£20 per session)

Year 5/6 Maths Tuition (9-11 years): Full for this academic year but now taking reservations for September 2025 intake (£25 per hour)

A little about us…

I’m Elisa, the director and lead teacher behind the Teach Me Tribe. I'm a Primary Education Specialist and Personal Educator. I have 15 years experience in education as a UK qualified primary teacher, senior leader and literacy subject coordinator and consultant. Working alongside myself is my own experienced and creative tribe of hand-picked teachers, teaching assistants and child counsellors - all of whom share the Teach Me Tribe ethos of relationship driven, creative teaching that champions the children that we support. We are proud to create meaningful and joyful sessions for our learners!

Learning with us is different. Our teaching is rooted in pedagogical cognitive research, with brain-friendly teaching strategies at our core. Relationships are at the heart of what we do and each lesson is crafted to nurture, engage and challenge. We are inclusive and have extensive experience of supporting children with special educational needs and supporting emotional wellbeing. With this in mind, we seek to understand how each school structures and sequences their curriculum so that our sessions complement and support the child when back in their school classroom. We also work with a number of local schools - both private and state settings- to deliver tuition during the school day.
